How Does Spray Tanning Work?

DHA is used and is a colourless sugar-based product which interacts with the proteins and amino acids in the outer layer of your skin to turn it a golden-brown colour.

The solution that is sprayed onto your skin is a guide for the technician. The colour will develop over a period of 6-8 hours. You will then need to shower and this guide colour will wash off and you will be left with your golden tan.
